gosh, it's been awhile

Between, no base coat and being sick, I've had no time for blogging. I didn't want to blog until I could take some pictures of my nails and nail polishes... and I needed a base coat for that. I finally got a base coat and I'm ready to roll again. Nail polish posts will resume. I'm sure you are all excited about that.

But first, I must share something I just saw on Outblush. Hot Sock Diffuser!! You can purchase it through Amazon or other sites online. Google is your friend, kids.

How neat is that diffuser? I love using a diffuser when I blow dry but I detest how heavy and bulky my dryer becomes with the standard plastic ones. I'm going to order one and try it out. Packing for vacations will be a breeze now!

out with the pink and in with the blue

Yes, I changed my nail color. What else did you think I was talking about? No picture yet but I will try to get one. It's a blue color called Breezy. I do not remember who it's by since I have misplaced the darn bottle. Doh! And no, I am not blonde. *lmao*

Thankfully, it's getting to be flip flop time on a regular basis. I don't do flip flops in rainy weather. Now, I need to pick up some more flip flops in every color imaginable! YES, it's a must.

Right now, I want to talk about mangoes. I love this fruit. Seriously, LOVE. Right now, I'm trying my first homemade mangorite. It's pretty good. I think it could be better but it's a start. And, it was easy to make. I made my husband start off with this recipe from Betty Crocker. Then, we added in some fresh mango. It made it even better. I would like to try the one I found on Food Network. Maybe, this weekend.

Time to go finish my drink. Nomnomnom.

i'm just a girl

I never used to love pink in any shape or form. Now, I pretty much live in something pink daily. Where did that 100% tomboy go? *lol*

I finally stopped being lazy and took a few pictures. The first one is the purse I just recently got in Target. It's so damn cute. Hearts in every color so it'll always go with anything I'm wearing. LOVE it!


And, I finally have a picture of my nails. I've had to repair some chips but I'm pretty impressed with how well this paint job has done. I did my nails on Sunday. Maybe, my goal should be to paint my nails once a week instead of every other day. The color is called Party Pink and it's by L.A. Colors. It's such a fun color. I did my toes with it as well. ;-)


I still haven't dug out the new polishes I bought. I'm trying to decide what color I should do my nails for the weekend. Green? Purple? Blue? Orange?

Ahhh, decisions!! What's a girl to do?
